The Dallas Real Estate Market Isn’t Slowing Down

Welcome To Dallas
The Real Estate Market You Should Be Watching

Welcome to Dallas which is a thriving city welcoming corporations, transferees, celebrities, and professional athletes.  Our central location and standard of living, with no state income tax, make Dallas a popular place to live.  Our market is comprised of incredible urban areas such as Uptown which offers an exciting way of life for its residents who enjoy the convenience of restaurants, gyms, shopping, and office buildings within walking distance of their home.

The exclusive “Park Cities” of Highland Park and University Park enjoy the highly ranked Highland Park Independent School District, community parks, stately homes, and the central location just north of downtown.  The Park Cities have their own highly trained police and fire departments, and lower property tax rates than other cities nearby.  The zip codes of 75205 in Highland Park and 75225 in University Park usually make the Forbes list of America’s Most Expensive Zip Codes.

Lakewood has a vibe all its own with beautiful trees and rolling hills, its charming cottages and new construction, access to White Rock lake for boating, biking and running, and the commerce and nightlife of lower Greenville.  On the east side of the lake is the world-renowned Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden which includes many lush and manicured gardens, and the creative and educational Children’s Adventure Garden.  The seasonal events at the Dallas Arboretum are simply breathtaking!

Dallas Has Been Attracting Global Companies &

World Class Amenities

Our outer banks include remarkable cities with great school districts such as Plano which is the corporate headquarters of Toyota, Frito Lay, J.C. Penney, Pizza Hut, PepsiCo, and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group to name a few.  In 2014 Money Magazine named McKinney, TX as the #1 Best Place to Live in America, and Money Magazine has just named Frisco, TX the 2018 #1 Best Place to Live in America.  Frisco is home of the executive headquarters and training facility of the Dallas Cowboys which is a $1.5 billion facility named The Star.  The complex is comprised of office buildings, a sports medicine facility, retail shopping, restaurants, the exclusive Cowboys Club private club, and the twelve thousand capacity indoor stadium which is home of the Frisco ISD football teams.  Quality developments built by some of the best home builders in Dallas, and gated communities surround The Star, which make them very popular with professional athletes, corporate executive, and physicians.  In 2016 I was honored to be invited to give a real estate presentation to the Dallas Cowboys as the team made the move to Frisco, TX.  It has been very rewarding to represent players in need of housing, to offer my best advice, educate them on recognizing quality construction, excellent floor plans, and their highest return on a real estate investment.

The Dallas area features excellent universities such as Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Dallas, outstanding medical teaching facilities such as UT Southwestern Medical Center and the Texas A&M College of Dentistry located at Baylor University Medical Center, and incredible shopping.  Highland Park Village was the first self-contained shopping village in America, and its tenants include Chanel, Dior, Jimmy Choo, and some of the most exclusive luxury brands in the world.  NorthPark Mall, Willow Bend Mall, Stonebriar Mall, Mockingbird Station, and The Shops at Legacy, are a few of the many shopping areas in Dallas.   Thrillist.com just named Dallas the #1 city for “Best Steakhouses” in the US, however, Dallas offers an array of five-star restaurants serving epicurean delights to a city of foodies.

These are some of the highlights of my city, but lastly, you should know that Dallas is charitable and kind.  Volunteerism and a philanthropic mindset are alive and well in Dallas.  People give back in many ways by donating, mentoring, and serving.  I am proud to serve on the Board of Directors of the Suicide Crisis Center in Dallas, and I am a member of Kidney Texas, The Women’s Council of the Arboretum, and I am involved in many other non-profits.  And through Dallas charities, and the fine arts, I have met some of the greatest people in the world.
