Todd Smith has twenty years of successful real estate sales experience. His training began at the young age of eight when his mom became a real estate appraiser. Todd would ride in the car with his mother, Penny, as she went from house to house appraising properties. At 20 years of age, Todd obtained his real estate license and went to work selling homes – his first sale right out of the starting gate was a $1.2 million dollar residence.
For the next nine years, Todd worked diligently building solid relationships with his clients and his sales placed him in the top 5% of Realtors nationwide. In 2000, his broker approached him with an opportunity to serve as Vice-President of a new branch office. For the next three years, Todd built the office from the ground up, helping to recruit over 55 agents and a staff of five administrative assistants while still selling real estate and building a successful team.

For the past two decades, Todd has been passionate about personal development and has worked very hard to develop extraordinary sales skills as well as his knowledge of people and various personality types. Some of his favorite mentors are Tony Robbins, Zig Ziglar and John Maxwell.

In 2006 the opportunity of a lifetime was presented to Todd in the form of a real estate coaching position with The Mike Ferry Organization. This is a prestigious and nationally recognized firm which only accepts real estate professionals who place in the top 2% of the industry annually. Just a few years later and with over 6,000 coaching sessions under his belt, Todd created The Todd Smith Group and sells real estate full-time.

In 2008, Todd became a top ELP (Endorsed Local Provider) for The Dave Ramsey Show. Dave Ramsey’s show is a nationally syndicated radio program heard on hundreds of stations nationwide and is also featured on the Fox Business Network. Todd has achieved extraordinary success as part of Dave Ramsey’s program and is one of the top ELPs in the country at this time.
